Zusammenfassung:Munetz discusses the need for mental health care providers to reclaim their role of caring clinician. Judges are in the position to see how society fails the most vulnerable among us. Many decide to do something about it. Perceiving the mental health system as failing, judges have developed problem-solving courts and other programs to meet a problem of failed mental health policy. Although evidence-based programs and effective therapies exist, the current funding structure of the community mental health system limits its ability to provide optimal, therapeutic, and relationship-based care.
