Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this article is to discuss how the specialised training of the learned and professional disciplines concerned with environmental planning--that is, architecture, town planning, landscape architecture and civil engineering--can be reformed to serve the goals of integrated conservation. It outlines an attempt to formulate a comprehensive set of guidelines for a new orientation in the context, methodology and scope of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in architectural and urban rehabilitation and conservation.
