Nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials

Almost a decade ago the spectrum of soft magnetic materials has been considerably enriched by the discovery of nanocrystalline iron based alloys. The article surveys the state of the art and the key factors from which the extraordinary properties of this new class of materials derive.
