Lithium ion conduction in lithium nitride single crystals and sinters

Although single crystal lithium nitride is a good lithium ion conductor, its application would require the preparation of a suitable sintered material which retained the outstanding properties of the single crystal. This paper describes our attempts to prepare such sinters and the measurements we have carried out to characterize their bulk electrochemical properties.
