Zusammenfassung: | An accurate calculation of a shock wave interaction with discontinuous area constrictions is obtained by using an implicit method to solve ordinary differential equations derived from the control volume integration of the equations in conservation-law form. The method does not require the addition of artificial dissipative and dispersive terms and yields a smooth (monotone) shock profile with no oscillations. |
