Comparison between the enhancement by microwaves of the critical current and of the order-parameter in superconducting aluminium

We report on measurements that enable a quantitative comparison of the enhancement by microwaves of the critical current and the enhancement by microwaves of the order-parameter in superconducting aluminium. Both quantities are measured in the same experimental set-up. It turns out, that in our experiments the relative enhancement of the order-parameter is about a factor of two smaller than expected from the measured enhancement of the critical current.
