Zusammenfassung: | Mathematical models are presented for (1) vibrating circular plates with edges elastically restrained against rotation, and (2) vibrating plates of regular polygonal shape whose boundaries are either clamped or simply supported. It is assumed in both cases that thickness varies with the X coordinate, though there is no formal difficulty in considering other types of thickness variation. Fundamental frequency coefficient tables are given for the two types of plate. |
