Zusammenfassung:This article compares the use of nanocrystalline, amorphous and permalloy materials for instrument transformer construction. The apparent permeability and loss angle dependencies on magnetic flux density necessary for instrument transformer design are introduced. The measurement of these characteristics and the influence of their course upon transformer errors is also described. The advantage of using nanocrystalline materials is demonstrated.
