Zusammenfassung:The ISEE propagation experiment has been used to obtain a new determination of the electron-density-fluctuation spectrum in the free solar wind in the vicinity of the earth. The preliminary analysis suggests that a single, Kolmogorov-type-power-law spectrum does not fit the data adequately over the entire range of distance scales covered by the experiment, which extends from about 10 sq to 10 to the 6th km: the spectrum appears to flatten for wavelengths shorter than about 4000 km.
