Zusammenfassung:One of the purposes in the present study is to examine whether or not the new method employing a modified picnometer can be applied up to high temperatures above 900 K. The densities of the liquid bismuth-silver and bismuth-cadmium alloys were measured with a sufficient precision in the temperature range from 630 to 1323 K. It was found out that a complicated dependence of the density or the excess molar volume on the composition resulted at all experimental temperatures, probably due to existence of the ordering in the liquid alloys.
