Corrosion studies of iron I: The impedance of the iron electrode in aqueous perchlorate solutions

Differential capacitance measurements have confirmed that the identification of the potential of zero charge (PZC) of Fe is not possible in aqueous perchlorate solution. If the PZC lies in the experimental region, it is everywhere obscured by faradaic processes.--AA
