Zusammenfassung: | The crystal morphology is usually limited by flat faces which are parallel to low index reticular planes. Two theoretical morphologies are defined: the equilibrium morphology built from surface energies and the growth morphology built from the attachment energies. These theoretical morphologies are established for a CrB crystal obtained after the solidification of rather complex alloys of Ni--Cr--B types. The faces observed experimentally are in fairly good agreement with the surface planes calculated in the equilibrium morphology, {020}, {130} and {111}. 12 ref.--AA |
