Zusammenfassung:A chemiluminescent method with sensitivity better than 1 ppb for gas-phase H2O2 is described. This method, developed for the purpose of determining low concentrations of H2O2 in the ambient atmosphere, uses an analytical system based on the oxidation of 5-amino-2,3-dihydro-1,4-phthalazinedione (luminol) by H2O2 in the presence of a Cu(II) catalyst. The instrumentation was tested with a wide range of interfering species, and no significant interferences were observed.
