Zusammenfassung:The conditional sampling technique, commanded by a typical signal, can be used to compute the conditional average and to duduce the conditional coherence coefficient between two information signals. By this data processing, it is possible to determine the actual positions of the acoustic sources in a medium. In an initial experimental application of this technique, the conditional coherence coefficient has been calculated between the signal of a hot wire situated in the mixing region of a free jet and the signal of a microphone placed in the far-field.
