Zusammenfassung: | In the paper the use of concept of "Best Available Technology" to evaluate future air pollutant emissions in national emissions reduction policy and local air qualities management plans is discussed. The European Union legislation is introduced and discussed, and a selected lot of industrial activities are evaluated. For each activity the available information on reduction potential of different BATS is reviewed. A lot of significant activities are selected at national and local level and a first evaluation of global reduction is performed. The relative importance of the reductions in the different activities compared with national or regional total emissions is discussed. 1. Introduction At national level the European Union Directive on national emission ceilings for certain atmospheric pollutants [I] has the aim to limit emissio |
