Zusammenfassung:With the emergence of new antitumoral agents and their benefit on patient survival, general practitioners are increasingly facing the challenges of managing patients with oncologic conditions. As a result, they have a key role in the follow-up of these patients, who may be more vulnerable than general population due to their relative immunodeficiency, which has to be evaluated. In this article, we will review the preventive measures adapted to this specific population: vaccination, travel medicine, antimicrobial prophylaxis and lifestyle interventions.
