Zusammenfassung:Experiments show distinct differences in the spectro-kinetic characteristics of the TEM 00-mode generation in Nd: glass and ruby lasers. We have concluded that these differences are due to a large mobility of excited states in Nd: glass. For Nd:glass a value of the diffusion constant of about 10 -2-10 -3 cm 2 sec -1 is obtained.
