Zusammenfassung: | An analysis for determining the working pressure in the plane strain side-pressing of circular rods between curved asymmetrical, smooth or rough dies, to form turbine blade sections is presented. Calculations were made using numerical integration techniques with Karman's equations when modified and the slip-line field techniques for a rigid-perfectly plastic material. Theoretical results obtained are compared with experimental results of load measurement taken at different stages during the pressing of annealed pure lead specimens. |
