Ivor Lewis Oesophagectomy for a Distal Adenocarcinoma of the Oesophagus 10 Years After Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGB)

A 52-year-old male patient who underwent RYGB in 2007 presents with dysphagia and anaemia 10 years after surgery. Gastroscopy shows a suspicious lesion at the gastrooesophageal junction. The biopsy concludes an invasive adenocarcinoma. Further imaging showed a T2N0 lesion.
