Zusammenfassung:Soil–cement specimens of various cement/sand/clay contents have been studied under the action of compressive cyclic loading. An investigation has been carried out into the effect of soil composition on the mode of failure. The transition from brittle mode of failure to quasi-brittle as a result of changing the sand content in the soil is studied. An experimental investigation of the elastic constants has been carried out by measuring the axial and radial strains. Des échantillons de sol–ciment de teneur variable en ciment/sable et argile ont été étudiés sous effet de compression par chargements cycliques. On a recherché le rôle joué par la composition du sol sur le mode de rupture. On a étudié le passage d'un mode de rupture fragile à un mode quasi-fragile résultant du changement de la teneur en sable du sol. On a effectué une étude expérimentale des constantes d'élasticité en mesurant les déformations axiales et radiales.
