Zusammenfassung: | The synthesis is described of a pH-universal hydrogen evolution electrocatalyst based on N and P co-doped graphitic carbon encapsulated OsP2 (OsP2@NPC) nanoparticles of 1.8 nm size for the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Our OsP2-based catalyst is catalytically active at all pH values and delivers the benchmark current density of 10 mA cm−2 at an overpotential of 46, 90 and 144 mV in acidic, alkaline and neutral pH, respectively. |
