Zusammenfassung: | In order to simulate on a laboratory model the processes of friction and wear in a crane brake under conditions of rapidly-repeated loading, the scale factor must be taken into account. A method is described for obtaining scale coefficients for the transfer from a full-size to a model system on the basis of similarity theory and dimensional analysis. The validity of the coefficients has been confirmed experimentally and the accuracy of the simulation estimated. |
