Zusammenfassung: | The paper presents the results of laboratory and field experiments on the seismomagnetic effect obtained by the authors during recent years. For the laboratory experiments we have used mineral samples from active seismic regions, the investigations under pressure having been carried out at different temperatures (to take the geothermal gradient into account). The behaviour of viscous magnetization has been studied for samples under elastic stress.
Local variations of the geomagnetic field have been studied in the range from several minutes to a few decades, the data being supplied by our own field work and the world network of magnetic observatories. |
