Why HP Is Pruning the Printers
Change is afoot in HP's strategy for printing photos, too. Until now, it has focused on selling photo printers, since 76% of digital pics are printed at home. But IDC expects that number to fall to 45% by 2008, as more consumers go to retail kiosks or order prints online.
