Irish are fearful of Brexit fallout

O'Loughlin discusses the impact of Brexit to Ireland. An unregulated British exit from the European Union next year would most probably require the re-imposition of a hard customs border, and perhaps movement controls as well, between the Republic and UK-ruled Northern Ireland. It would also, at a minimum, disrupt Ireland's vital land-bridge for goods to and from the continent, and damage trade with the UK, traditionally Ireland's main import-export market for food and other goods.
