Zusammenfassung:[...]this is not Marx's expression, which is found in a magnificent passage in his manuscript for the third volume of his great work: "Beyond the realm of necessity begins the development of human power, which is an end in itself, the true realm of freedom which however can blossom only on the basis of the realm of necessity" (Marx 1863-67, 1992: 838). [...]in the course of correcting and improving the text of a book by a worker (Johann Most), meant for popularising Capital, Marx inserted: "The capitalist mode of production is really a transitional form which by its own organism must lead to a higher, to a cooperative mode of production, to socialism" (in Most 1989: 783). [...]Marx's suggestion (taken over from Owen) for a separate labour voucher for each labourer makes perfect sense for this new mode of production. [...]even with the juridical abolition of individual private property in the means of production, if the great majority are compelled to sell their labour power against wage in order to live, they effectively continue to confront "class property" as propertyless individuals.
