The owner of the cafe was least bothered; he seemed busy helping the young girl, who looked like a college student, download some material from the internet. When one of the beggar girls complained about some malfunction in one of the machines, the owner, a young man, called out to one of the boys named Babu: "Babu dyekh to ki hoyeche" (Babu, have a look into the matter). On the one hand, I thought, it is good that these kids could enjoy the benefits of technology-they who are otherwise deprived of most of life's goodies.
