Use of Microcontact Printing Methods to Direct Pattern Formation of Calcified Mesoporous Silicon
Silicon surfaces with nanoporous and bulk‐Si domains are accessible by soft lithographic processes based on microcontact printing. The nanoporous areas can be further modified—also biochemically—by calcium phosphate deposition (see Figure for a patterned sample). Both nanoporous Si and the calcium p...

Zusammenfassung: | Silicon surfaces with nanoporous and bulk‐Si domains are accessible by soft lithographic processes based on microcontact printing. The nanoporous areas can be further modified—also biochemically—by calcium phosphate deposition (see Figure for a patterned sample). Both nanoporous Si and the calcium phosphate‐covered material are biocompatible and interesting for implants that release drugs over extended periods of time. |
