Multilayer coatings using surface and bulk eroding polymers to create unique release profiles

Means of laminating CAP-P were sought, including mixed solvent systems, high polymer concentration, and water/solvent extraction. All methods focused on creating mechanically stable layers capable of transfer with sufficient residual solvent to plasticize layers for laminating. The surface eroding CAP-P system provided an excellent alternative to hPLGA when control of release was needed over a period of days.
