Zusammenfassung:The capability of current technologies in correcting higher order wavefront aberrations in the human eye with contact lenses was studied. A Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor was used to measure the wavefront of a patient diagnosed as having early keratoconus. Three images were collected from the subject while fixating at infinity. Analysis of the obtained images show that current manufacturing technologies are capable of creating contact lenses which can correct the higher order wavefront aberration typically measured in human eye.
