Zusammenfassung: | The repeatability of aided LogMAR ETDRS VA was examined in myopic children participating in a multi-center clinical trial to evaluate test retest reliability and provide guidelines for determining a significant VA change. 469 myopic children were refracted without cycloplegia by certified examiners to determine the best subjective correction. Using an EDTRS chart, aided monocular acuity was determined with a modified ETDRS protocol. VA measures were repeated one month after enrollment in 111 children. Overall, LogMAR VA provided a reliable measure in children aged 6 to 11 years. |
