Zusammenfassung:Sessile drop wetting experiments were performed on silicon nitride with Cu-Ni-Cr-Si and Ni-Cr-Si-B alloys. Wetting behaviour was investigated as a function of alloy composition, and solidified alloy drops and ceramic substrates were sectioned and examined by SEM and EDX. Predicted phase equilibria were calculated using MTDATA, a thermodynamics analysis software package.
