Zusammenfassung:A technique for determining denatured lysozyme deposition and removal from Group IV soft contact lenses was evaluated. New Acuvue 2 lenses (OD lens and OS lens) were worn for each period on a daily wear basis using two marketed contact lens multi-purpose solutions (MPS). Total lysozyme of the OD lens, the OS lens and the OS soak solution was determined. Analysis of the data showed a significant difference in the effectiveness of the two solutions in removing denatured lysozyme from the lenses.
