Use of synthetic bone substitutes in total hip arthroplasty revision surgery

The use of biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) in hip arthroplasty revision surgery is discussed. This synthetic bone substitute appears to be safe. Less morbidity makes it effective compared with other bone grafts.
