Zusammenfassung:In the present paper, we show the local non-stationary nature of brain waves from demented persons by reconstructing various stochastic processes of averaged local quantities, e.g. , fractal dimension, mean, variance, skewness and kurtosis. The characteristic random dynamic features of their local quantities are discussed in the two-dimensional (2D) phase space. The availability of their local non-stationary nature for diagnosing senile dementia is also discussed.
