Zusammenfassung:The plasma ET-1 level and its relationship with intrarenal arterial resistance in pts with compensated cirrhosis without ascites, splanchnic arterial resistance were evaluated. Ten pts with cirrhosis and nine age-matched controls, all with normal serum creatinine and urea levels were enrolled. The results demonstrates that in cirrhotic pts without ascites, in spite of splanchnic vasodilation, plasma ET-1 level and intrarenal arterial resistance are not significantly increased.
