Investigating clinical teaching methodology: student and instructor responses to a survey

In order to ensure quality clinical education in the patient care setting, the New England College of Optometry attempted to identify useful teaching methodologies that can apply to a variety of practice modalities. Surveying both faculty and students elucidated trends in the clinical instruction of the College's programs and student perceptions of their clinical experience.
