Conjunctival IL-2R-beta as an inflammatory marker in KCS

Conjunctival epithelial levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokine receptor, IL-2R-beta, were correlated with squamous metaplasia (SM). Ocular surface IL-2R-beta staining appeared to correlate with SM grade.
