Zusammenfassung:The effects of long term treatment with octreotide (OCT) on acromegalic arthropathy were assessed by ultrasonography (USG). USG reveals the articular involvement in acromegalic patients. Results show a significant thickness reduction of articular cartilage in the right shoulder, right wrist, right and left knees, and heel tendon sizes.
