Zusammenfassung:Sonographic findings in 20 patients with acute mesenteric ischemia were reviewed. There were 11 cases of arterial mesenteric ischemia and 9 cases of venous mesenteric ischemia. The following sonographic findings were compared with surgical or computed tomographic findings: adynamic ileus, thickened intestinal wall, wall stratification, and pneumatosis. Color Doppler analysis of the abnormal intestinal segment was performed.
