Zusammenfassung:The changes in fibroid vascularity pre- and post-embolization were evaluated and quantified with 3D color Doppler sonography (CDS). The vascularity as depicted on 3D CDS showed dramatic decrease in vascularity and flow in all fibroids. 3D CDS was found to be helpful in pre- and post-embolization of fibroids as a means to assess vascularity and changes in flow after embolization.
