Zusammenfassung:The feasibility of stimulated acoustic emission (SAE) in the liver parenchyma in the late phase imaging with Levovist to improve the ultrasonographical detection of the liver metastases was evaluated. Ten patients with known liver metastases underwent ultrasonography after 5 minutes from the i.v. injection of 2,5 g Levovist. The examination was performed in gray-scale with a Siemens Sonoline Elegra equipment, using Contrast Harmonic Imaging and high acoustic power settings.
