Zusammenfassung:The diagnostic confidence of power Doppler (PD) with contrast agents in different focal liver lesions is investigated. Seventy-five patients affected by 107 focal liver lesions were submitted to PD ultrasonography, before and after contrast media (CM). After CM administration PD vascular signals were enhanced in 89 lesions, unchanged in 18 lesions, and reduced in none. The enhancement significantly increased versus baseline ultrasonography (US). The diagnostic confidence after CM was significantly increased in 98 lesions, unchanged in 9 lesions and reduced in none.
