Harmonic imaging of the brain using grey scale and Power Doppler technology

The performance of the power Doppler was compared with grey scale imaging for their robustness in describing brain perfusion. An animal study using three doses of option was performed. Due to a more homogenous increase in brightness, grey scale imaging was more suitable in displaying brain perfusion. However, the peak increase was the most suitable parameter describing cerebral perfusion with both imaging modes.
