Changes in yellow bristle grass (Setaria pumila) abundance after drought : implications for pasture management

Presents the findings of assessments of botanical composition and abundance of yellow bristle grass (Setaria pumila) (YBG) on 12 Waikato dairy farms in Feb 2009, with comparisons to data collected from the same farms during Feb 2008, to determine if the associations between YBG presence and botanical and management factors were consistent and to assess how botanical composition had changed after the severe summer drought during 2008.
