Zusammenfassung:Samples of drinking water collected from high incidence and low incidence districts of gastric carcinoma were analyzed using PIXE. The results showed that the concentrations of elements Ti, V, Fe, Cu and Sr in the samples from high incidence districts were significantly higher than those from low incidence districts, while the element As in the samples from low incidence districts was higher than that from the high incidence districts.
