Zusammenfassung: | The pore structure of expanded graphite, a derivative of GIC, varies due to different preparation procedures, and the surface and interior of all particles. H sub(2)SO sub(4)-GIC and chloride-GIC were expanded at different temperatures between 300 and 1000 degree C by electrochemical treatment with different graphite flakes and various intercalating electronic capacity. The pore volumes of the EGs were distributed from 1 to 10 ml/g with a peak pore diameter value from 500 to 4000 nm. This structure having a majority of macropores makes the EGs excellent materials for biomedical applications. |
