Use of a Gas-Solid Fluidized Bed Bioreactor for Bioaugmentation

Experimental research has shown that microbiological degradation in soils really contaminated with mineral oil hydrocarbons and hexachlorocyclohexane respectively can be accelerated and even intensified by a combined treatment in a fluidized bed bioreactor and subsequently in a remediation heap.
