Zusammenfassung: | We have developed the method of calculating main technological parameters for the operation of a water-treatment filter with a smoothly-varying cross section area throughout the height of the granular layer. The theory of filtration and the method of its technological modeling developed by Mints have been behind the calculation method. We have shown the advantages of implementing the filtration process when treating water in the direction of the ascending velocity (reducing area of the filtrating medium). |
