The Common among the Rare: A Pictorial Essay of the Most Common Diffuse Lung Diseases in Children

Diffuse parenchymal lung diseases (DPLDs) in children or childhood interstitial lung disease (CHILD), encompasses a heterogeneous group of rare disease characterized by abnormal imaging findings. Here, Pastroma et al discuss the multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and management of CHILD with imaging such as computed tomography (CT). They attempt to provide a short and comprehensive review of CHILD syndrome while highlighting the role of imaging through illustrative cases of the main entities.
